Comments

The development in the Hoer and Love paper gives an exact expression for the self and mutual partial inductances of a pair of parallel rectangular bars. Caution must be used though when trying to apply these results to a system of multiple conductors. In the multiple conductor case, all of the mutual inductances must be calculated and retained to avoid producing a model which is active rather than passive.
